Symptom: "Invalid String Received" keeps popping up randomly, what's wrong?
Possible Solution: There are two possible answers for this question. Either a loose power connector at the back of the receiver or the fuse holders have loosened overtime and need to be tightened.
Symptom: I start up NETMIND� and a box containing "Invalid String Received" pops up about 20 times, then I get a stack overflow and the entire thing shutsdown?
Possible Solution: This is caused by incorrect COM port selection. The most likely cause is that the COM port selected is receiving GPS information.
Symptom: My catch block in my Catch Sensor is stuck, how do I fix it?
Possible Solution: Remove screws in catch block cover, remove catch block, noting orientation. Clean out chamber, lubricate catch block, and reinsert. Orientation of catch block should be such that dots on block align with dots on face of catch block tube.
Symptom: Sensors only operate for 1 or 2 tows, even though batteries are fully charged?

Symptom: When I start the NETMIND� Trawl Monitoring software, the settings from my previous session have changed. How can I stop this from happening?
Possible Solution: Instead of closing the software by clicking the "X" in the upper right corner of your screen, close the program properly by clicking File and clicking Exit. This will ensure your settings will be saved.
